Maryland will host Pittsburgh in the 2016 Big Ten-ACC Challenge, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

The Terps and Panthers last met as conference 'rivals' in 2013-2014, Pittsburgh's first season in the ACC and Maryland's last. Pittsburgh defeated Maryland 83-79 Jan. 25, 2014 in College Park, completing a season sweep.

Maryland is 0-2 in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge since changing conferences, but the Terps still hold a 10-5 overall record in the event.

The Terps fell to North Carolina 89-81 in Chapel Hill last season in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge in one of the most highly anticipated top 10 match ups of the season.

Both teams will look significantly different next season as the Terps will have to replace four starters for last season's Sweet Sixteen team while the Panthers will be led by first-year head coach Kevin Stallings.
